Project time: 2020 – 2021
I’m excited to present a project that demonstrates my proficiency in data-driven solutions and user-centric design, particularly in the context of education and essay writing.
- Project Origin: This project is a modified version of Youtuber SelDevTV’s Trello Clone Tutorial Series. I adapted and enhanced it to better serve students and educators in the challenging realm of essay writing. The original project served as a foundation, but I expanded its capabilities significantly to address specific pain points faced by essay writers.
- Streamlined Essay Writing: The primary purpose of this project is to streamline the essay writing process. As we all know, crafting a well-structured essay can be time-consuming and challenging. Students often become discouraged or lose confidence when they receive low scores due to essays straying off-topic. To combat this issue, my enhanced tool helps users quickly filter, modify existing notes, and construct a response tailored to a given essay question.
- Added Features for Efficiency: I incorporated several key features to make essay writing more efficient and effective. One standout feature is the automatic generation of topic notes based on a user’s chosen topic. Users can select their topic and choose relevant notes within that topic, saving them time from writing every detail from scratch. Additionally, the tool facilitates topic selection and note curation, empowering users to make informed choices in their essay preparation.
- Drag-and-Drop Functionality: Another noteworthy feature is the drag-and-drop functionality, which allows users to effortlessly arrange and organize their notes into a coherent and comprehensive essay response. This intuitive interface helps users construct well-structured essays with ease.
- Benefits to Users: The benefits of this project are clear. It saves students valuable time by automating the note-taking process and streamlining essay construction. By focusing on relevant notes and topics, it helps students stay on track and produce higher-quality essays, ultimately boosting their confidence and academic performance.
